As Croydon’s primary link between education and business and the borough’s work experience broker, CEBP enjoys an enviable reputation for linking schools and colleges with the business community and supporting young people in their journey to work.
It achieves its goals through a variety of programmes and activities that develop young people's understanding of the world of work. That includes the enhancement of so-called ‘soft’ skills like self-discipline, teamwork and communications that make students more attractive to potential employers.
CEBP has a very positive relationship with the Croydon business community many of whom are more than happy to help it deliver its initiatives.
Formed in 1990, CEBP works with schools, academies, colleges and pupil referral units in the borough of Croydon. It is set up as a company with charitable status whose board of directors consists of highly experienced representatives from the borough’s business and education sectors.
