Enterprise Workshops

CEBP runs a variety of events revolving around the development of enterprise skills. Our three main enterprise-related activities are:

Enterprising Houses
The primary objective of Enterprising Houses is to allow students aged 14-16 the chance to demonstrate that they can work in a team towards a common goal. Pupils in groups of 5 or 6 plan the construction of a housing development (of 12 houses) for the local council.

Skills Circus
Skills Circus is designed to identify where students are in relation to an understanding of enterprise concepts and skills. The 'circus' takes the form of 15 short, timed activities that focus on enterprise understanding. The Skills Circus is aimed at 12-16 year olds.

Celebrations
'Celebrations' is a practical activity for 14-18 year olds, focusing primarily on project management, finance and adapting to circumstances. Celebrations serves as an excellent practical test of students' enterprising ability.

All of these activities require business volunteers to run effectively. To find out how you can be involved, please view our flyers on these activities or Volunteer Online.
