CEBP's initiatives are not exclusive to students: teachers can also gain useful business insights they can pass on to their students through our Professional Development Placements.

CEBP is looking for volunteer businesses to accept teachers on placements. Usually taking place over the course of a whole day, the objectives of the outcome are dependent on the teacher and the nature of the business.

Generally, the concepts behind a Professional Development Placement are:

For teachers to enhance their knowledge of business practices and culture
To pass on this knowledge to students, in order to improve their business knowledge
To help create links between schools and businesses

By allowing teachers to spend time with your business, you can raise awareness of your company, as well as pass on useful knowledge and skills to the future workforce.
