Employability Skills Workshops

Employability Workshops give students aged 14-16 the chance to test and improve their employability skills (see the Employability Skills section for more details on these skills).

Improving employability skills gives students more chance to find work when they leave education, as they can better meet the expectations of employers. Employability Workshops are especially useful as a prelude to a work experience placement.

CEBP runs Employability Workshops throughout the year, usually over the course of a whole morning with an entire year group, broken down into groups of 20-25.

Activities include a short written section to establish understanding, a fun team-building exercise, and lastly the 'Apprentice's Challenge', which gives the students the opportunity to design, market and present their own product or service to their peers.
